How to Unlock Island 4
Complete the Tourist’s quest on the Desert or Palm Trees island. Trade an endangered fish for Carrot, defeat Pufferfish, collect its Fin, and return it. The next destination appears as a red Radar marker.
Follow the red point until an island with several buildings becomes visible. Different guides call it Rocks, Barn, Casino, or the fourth island, but they describe the same progression stage. This page uses Island 4 consistently because Lighthouse is counted as Island 1.
If the marker is missing, confirm that the Fin was delivered rather than merely collected. The third island guide covers that handoff. The map page lists the visual confirmation for every route.
Island 4 Quest Route
The main sequence is:
- Visit the bait shop and buy Professional Lure for ordinary fishing.
- Earn enough for Professional Boss Lure and suitable weapons.
- Equip the Boss Lure and catch Tuna.
- Defeat Tuna but keep its body.
- Place Tuna on dry ground to attract Albatross.
- Defeat Albatross and retrieve its Head.
- Return the Head to the islander inside the shop.
- Follow the new pink marker to Volcano.
Tuna is the critical link between fishing and the island’s story boss. It has a high verified base value, which makes selling it tempting, but doing so forces another Boss Lure cycle. Treat the first Tuna as quest bait, not income.
Fish and Baits on Island 4
Professional Lure covers Bass, Eel, Red Snapper, Sengarat, Halibut, Tigerfish, Flying Fish, Voxelfish, Parrotfish, and Dripper. This pool has much stronger verified base values than the earlier islands and is the intended path for funding the island’s expensive gear. The fish prices page compares the values without relying on exceptional video payouts.
Professional Boss Lure catches Tuna. Tuna is then placed on land to summon Albatross, so Albatross does not use a rod lure directly. Keep these two steps separate when organizing inventory.
Do not confuse Dripper, the normal creature name, with a Drip variant. A Drip form belongs to the separate collection track. The rare variants guide explains the distinction.
What to Buy First
Professional Lure is the practical first purchase because it unlocks the local money pool. Upgrade an existing SMG if it still performs well, then decide whether to buy the Sniper Rifle for Albatross. The Sniper’s long range matches an airborne target better than a short-range firearm.
Avoid putting all income into the casino. The Beginner source advises against early gambling, and every relevant transcript shows long stretches of money loss mixed with occasional dramatic wins. Those results are not a dependable funding route for Professional Boss Lure or the Sniper Rifle.
Inventory space matters here because the route can involve a lure, Tuna body, two weapons, and food. Clear obsolete gear before starting. In co-op, one player can use the Sniper while another keeps an SMG for ground catches and sustained fire.
Catching and Preserving Tuna
Equip Professional Boss Lure on the Fishing Rod and cast from the Island 4 shoreline. Tuna behaves as a boss fish with a health bar, so reel it onto controllable ground and use your prepared weapon. Avoid letting it escape back toward the water.

Once it is defeated, do not feed it to the vendor, eat it, gamble it, or leave it somewhere another player may use it. Carry or place it in a known safe spot until the group is ready for Albatross. Video playthroughs repeatedly demonstrate how an attractive sale value can derail this step.
Move the Tuna to open dry ground. The Albatross should arrive as the next encounter. If it does not, confirm that the catch is Tuna from Professional Boss Lure and that the body is positioned on land.
How to Beat Albatross
Albatross circles above the island, swoops, and drops damaging projectiles. Use the Sniper Rifle to exploit its range and move under or beside buildings when the overhead attack begins. Fire when the bird’s route is predictable instead of chasing every pass across the sky.
An SMG can contribute in co-op, especially when the bird comes closer, but the Sniper is the repeated dedicated recommendation. Spread out so one projectile does not punish the full group. Keep the likely drop area over land when possible, because retrieving the Head from water adds unnecessary risk.
After the kill, locate the Albatross Head rather than consuming other dropped meat. Return the Head to the NPC inside the shop. The pink Volcano coordinate is the actual quest reward.
Common Island 4 Mistakes
Selling Tuna is the largest progression error. Its $2,000 base listing is real in the Game8 table, but the body is more valuable as the required Albatross bait until the quest is complete. Catch another Tuna later if collection or money is the goal.
Buying every weapon at base level is another weak use of income. A focused upgraded SMG plus a Sniper Rifle role is more coherent than several underpowered choices. Check all weapons before spending on overlapping gear.
Finally, do not remain outdoors through every Albatross projectile pattern. The shops are functional cover, not just scenery. Step out for a clear shot, then reposition before the next pass.
Where to Go Next
Once the Albatross Head is delivered, follow the pink marker toward the visible Volcano. The final island introduces Scientific lures, the Assault Rifle, a five-fish scientist quest, and the two-stage whale ending.
